Jesus Withering the Fig Tree
The miracle of Jesus withering the fig tree is recorded in both the Gospel of Mark (Mark 11:12-14, 20-25) and the Gospel of Matthew (Matthew 21:18-22).
Early one morning, as Jesus and his disciples were traveling from Bethany to Jerusalem, Jesus noticed a fig tree by the roadside. The tree had leaves, indicating that it should have borne fruit since it was the season for figs. However, upon closer inspection, Jesus found no fruit on the tree.

Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them."
