Andrew
Andrew was one of Jesus' disciples and he played an important role in Jesus' ministry.
In the Gospel of John, Andrew is one of the first disciples called by Jesus. He was originally a disciple of John the Baptist, but when John pointed to Jesus and said, "Behold, the Lamb of God!", Andrew and another disciple followed Jesus (John 1:35-40).
Immediately after meeting Jesus, Andrew went to his brother Peter and told him, "We have met the Messiah" (John 1:41). This demonstrates his knowledge and faith in Jesus and actively shares the gospel message with others.
In John's Gospel, there is a story about Andrew. When Jesus needed to feed a large crowd, Andrew found five barley loaves and two small fishes brought by a child. Even though it was far from enough to meet such a huge need, Andrew gave these foods to Jesus, who miraculously multiplied them enough to feed everyone (John 6:1-13).
Before a Passover, some Greeks wish to see Jesus. They came to Andrew and through him they asked to see Jesus (John 12:20-22). Andrew took them to Jesus, showing his willingness to preach to the Gentiles and introduce them to Jesus.
In the book of Acts, Andrew also plays an important role. He played a role in the expansion of the church, preaching and leading people to Christ. According to legend, he also preached the gospel everywhere, and was even called "the first one who preached the gospel".
These are some of the stories of Andrew, one of the faithful disciples in Jesus' ministry. He actively helped to spread the Gospel, share the message of Jesus, and was instrumental in the founding and expansion of the church. Although his appearances in the Gospel accounts are rare, his devotion and service are commendable.
